Biking Across the Country for Crohn's Disease
This summer I plan to bike across the country to raise money and awareness for Crohn's disease. I will need accommodations and support along the way as well as the need to meet great new friends.
I plan to start in California and travel through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and then up to the East Coast.
Would love to hear tips from people who have done similar trips, and from people who will be willing to accommodate.

Best of luck!
Unfortunately I cannot help you with tips & tricks and I cannot provide accommodation because I don't live in the USA. But I do want to say that I think it's fantastic that you want to raise money and awareness for Crohn's disease. My father was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1973, aged 25. What followed, where piles of medication (some of them experimental) and several surgeries. You name it - he tried it. It has been almost 40 years and the doctors cannot do much more for him, as too much damage has been done. However, my father does get some benefit from a relatively new medicine, that seems particularly promising for new/young patients: infliximab or remicade. Perhaps your nephew may benefit from it as well.
In the meantime, I wish you happy travels! And I will keep an eye on your blog.
