Howdy!
As part of my effort to promote more biking, walking and community service/activism in our town I'd like to document all cyclists traveling through. This would include photographs and a small writeup. You can see the beginnings of the project at http://litterpatrol.wordpress.com or check out litter patrol on facebook. If you'd like to make a spot on warmshowers for the photos and interviews of people coming through our area I would be happy to contribute to that. We live on the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route in Centralia,WA.
We recently moved here to take care of my parents as they are having serious health issues and aren't able to host at this time but as we meet more people here, we may be able to get folks to join warmshowers. Cyclists who participate would get some nice photos of themselves (I shoot for a living) and the knowledge they are encouraging more people here to think about bikes in a positive way.. Not sure I want to visit any town where the residents. long time or new, shot bicyclists. Life is tough enough with crazed truckers and texting motorists trying constantly to run one off road or worse but being "shot"? Oh MY!!
Slight tongue in cheek but I am left assuming you mean "shoot" pictures professionally.
Idea is a good one. Good luck "hunting". (Are cyclists in bright colors easier to pick off?)
