World Cyclist Thomas ...
Our first Warm Showers visitor was Thomas, from England. He was very respectful, and I would recommend him. He had first cycled from Germany to China, then flew over to the USA, and had been travelling from Canada to California. He came to stay with us Wednesday afternoon (October 14, 2009). Thursday my oldest son and I took Thomas for a ride around town, then on the Dry Creek Trail. We stopped off at A & W Rootbeer (Thomas had never had rootbeer!).
My boys and I really enjoyed having Thomas stay with us. I would like to hear more about his experiences with the Mongols ....
Friday, my riding buddy took Thomas (I rode along) up to Yosemite National Park (about 125 miles each way). We walked around, checking out Bridalveil Falls and Yosemite Falls, the museum and Ansel Adams art gallery. Had a great time.
Drove around and finally found Thomas a campsite. Helped him get his gear carried up the hill, then it was dark and time to part our ways ....
If you see this thread Thomas, let us know how you are doing. And how was that ride over the Tioga Pass ... ???
