Why has the number of responces in the last year on my homepage dropped twice the last two weeks? First it was 7/7 then 5/5 and now 3/3. In my world a year is from january to the end of december. ;-) I removed some requests of my guests to the bin, is it because of that?

It's a rolling calculation of the previous 12 months.

Ok, thank you for the answer Paul ;-)

Does the responce rate also run this cycle?

It was my impression that your original question was about the response rate.

Yes it still is. But I wondered if the cyclus also alteres the responcerates. So if somebody doesn't reply for a year, if the cyclus is over, starts with a new slate as well for the responserates.

As responsiveness is one of the criteria I have to invite or not invite sombody to my home ;-)

I'm not really sure I understand what you are asking. Here's what I understood your original post was:

Why have my response rate calculations been falling in the last 2 weeks?

to which I replied:

It's a rolling calculation of the previous 12 months (ie total messages received and total messages answered older than 12 months will not be included in the calculation).

Is there something else other than this that you would like answered?

Yup I added one more question afther I found your responce. The first was about the number of answerd requests, the following question is about the percentage of answered requests. I was wondering when a person isn't responsive to requests and therefore the figure of his answered requests are low. The amount of answered request alter every 12 months. Does this also affect the percentage of answered requests? Meaning this person will eventually looses his bad responce rate because of the 12 months loop and so he can start with a clean sleat? I am asking this because for me and others the amount and the percentage of answered requests is a factor to decide if somebody is welcome or not as a guests. I am not native english so I hope if you understand the question now. Thanks annyway!

As far as I can understand your question this still comes under the scope of my original answer ie:

The calculation does not change every 12 months it is a continual summation of:

A) all messages responded to within the last 12 months and

B) all messages received within the last 12 months,

The response rate is then calculated by dividing A by B and multiplying by 100. Any messages received or responded to more than 12 months ago will not enter into the calculation.

Thanxs ;-)

Your response rate still recalculates at 100%. Good work!

;-)
