route diagramm and marks on a map

My wish is a tool where we can put our route in and a diagramm
will show us the distance and how much up and downs are
waiting for us.
Maybe something who takes the information from google maps and convert it
into a diagramm.

Also cool would be an option to put some marks on a online map.
After a trip you can give some tips to follow riders.
Like: "good place for wild camping", "ask at the farm for sleeping in the hay",
"public BBQ place", "road under construction", "chasing dogs", "wonderful place for a swimm" aso..

online mapping

There are several mapping websites now. The one I like best is
http://ridewithgps.com

There you can map any route you want, even draw some lines where there are no roads if you know a route that isn't on the map. Gives climbing elevations, of course.
