Brazil - Salvador to Rio to Sao Paulo - starting mid Jan 2017

Hi folks,

I am thinking about cycling for a month starting 12 Jan. My preliminary thought is cycling in Brazil from Salvador to Rio then Sao Paulo (refer to: https://goo.gl/maps/BeKVYuUec6r ) However, I am completely open-minded about any alternative routes (as long as it falls within the stated timeframe, I haven't even booked my ticket yet! ). I personally prefer choosing the right companion than choosing the right route! So convince me as long as its in South America =)

About my cycling "Philosophy" - I only cycle around 500km per week so plan to do around 2000km in total - I don't like to trade-off having fun experiencing the surrounding to merely reaching mileage targets. I have done a couple of trips totalling around 4000km in China, Taiwan, Korea and the US.

Person-wise - I enjoy outdoor activities e.g. windsurfing, ultimate frisbee and never go to the gym unfortunately. I am 29 and have worked / lived in China, UK, France and Nigeria - going to work in the UK starting spring 2017. Thus would love to meet with like-minded professionals and share our life stories.
