Dear Warmshowers Community, we know this is a time of concern for everyone around the globe due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In an effort to streamline communication and better address the current needs of our community in a timely manner, we are temporarily disabling the forums and directing everyone to the Warmshowers Facebook Group. This will allow the Warmshowers Community a centralized place for comments, questions, and concerns related to touring and hosting. April 01, 2017: TransAmerica Route, Colorado to Virginia

Retired male inviting other bike riders who are traversing the TransAmerica Route ( Adventure Cycling Association Maps) to join me
in finishing my ride.

Started last summer by dipping my rear wheel into the Pacific Ocean at Astoria, Oregon, and then riding with 5 others along the route
until reaching nearly Kansas where the heat was 109F. I stopped in Colorado where the heat was a low 98F and returned home. I
completed about 1,250 miles in that ride.

Will be starting up again from where I stopped and traveling about 50 miles per day. Not sure yet if its going to be hotels, camping, and Warm Showers but WS would be the most educational, for certain, if hosts are available at the right locations.
