Warmshowers Forums Disabled

Dear Warmshowers Community, we know this is a time of concern for everyone around the globe due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In an effort to streamline communication and better address the current needs of our community in a timely manner, we are temporarily disabling the forums and directing everyone to the Warmshowers Facebook Group. This will allow the Warmshowers Community a centralized place for comments, questions, and concerns related to touring and hosting. As always, we ask that you follow our community guidelines when posting.

How to undelete a deleted sent message

I made some requests and accidentally deleted them instead of tagging them. I searched for how to do this and came up with no result.  The forum search appears to me not to be very effective. I looked in the FAQ also.  Thanks!

I know this was done for

I know this was done for members on request in the past - your best bet would be to directly contact someone at WS here:

The forum search has been fairly crippled since the 2015 Drupal upgrade, you will get better results (still not 100% though) by removing 'type=forum' out of the search box on the page with your search results (unfortunately this will include things outside of the forum such as member feedback in the results).

As for 'FP Promote' I'm guessing thats just a tag for select posts to appear on the front page, but yeah it probably shouldn't be visible on each new thread.
