Impossible to find hosts!

I've tried a hundred times to find hosts and keep coming up with a giant goose egg! How would I know the name of someone I've never met?? Enter a city and I get no results. The map (US) matches nothing on google, or I'm about ready to just drop out of the program.

Could you rephrase these quotes as I don't really understand what you are getting at.

As for finding no hosts, if you mean for the route you posted elsewhere on the forums - that seems to go through several unincorporated communities with negligible populations and a couple of small towns (the largest with <1500 people) - hardly unexpected that you wouldn't find any hosts.

There are regions on this

There are regions on this planet where folks have never heard of bike-touring, let alone WarmShowers. Look for campsites, county and state parks.

Also: I had good experiences when asking at farms.
