Bulgaria woman alone ?

Hello :)

Does anyone can tell me if it's safe to go for a bicycle trip in Bulgaria alone ?

I would like to go from Sofia to Varna in 3-4 days by myself.

Thank you for the tips :)

Solo woman cycling 2016 - no problems

Hello,

A few years I cycled alone in very remote areas of Bulgaria (border area to Serbia North Makedonia, Kjustendil, Pernia) and had no problems ((-;

Hi!

Hi!

As a man I cycled there in 2017. Bulgarian people pretends to be crazy but in fact I only had friendly exchange with them (appart from some hotel owners). For the trip I would not recommend following the Danube as there is not much to see and the Eurovelo6 is non-existent there (maybe it is now?).
