I think there was an email

I think there was an email recently to say that the app has been disabled for security reasons.

Use the webpage instead of the app until the problem is fixed.

There was a mail today that it should be possible,

Edit: And there was a second mail that the little word "not" had been left out. Not a word about when this would be fixed. The April newsletter said that an official app would be released in May.

Web site NOT mobile friendly

The app would be less important if the web site was mobile device friendly, but it is not.  I tried the web site from my android device this morning.  You have to scroll through lots of garbage to find the login button.  Once you log in, it brings you to your page which first asks for a donation, but the message is only partially displayed.  Once you get rid of that, your profile comes up with your names overwriting other information.    It's not obvious that to get to the map you have to select the search option in the menu.  It's not particularly usable from a mobile device, since it is not designed in a mobile friendly layout, not to mention the amount of mobile data it is using displaying information that is irrelevant for a touring cyclist.

We have been wondering why we have not received any requests this spring.  Normally we would have hosted several folks by now since we live on an Adventure Cycling route.  The fact that neither the app or the web site is usable from a mobile device might explain this.
