cycling destination for cycling trip in end of September 2014

Hi,
I plan a cycling trip sometimes in end of September 2014. I am looking for a destination where I can have nice weather at that time of the year. I was thinking of Cote Amalfitaine region (in the Naples region, Italy) or Corsica.
I plan to go with a road bike and staying 2 or 3 days in same town and cycle in loops for approx. 100km per day. I may rent a car to change city or have a back pack to change city on the bike.

I would like to know how is cycling in the italian destination: the security of the roads, scenery, traffic.''must see'' area, area not to go, specific routes to take, weather, little towns to stay suggested, etc. Do my plans seem feasible? Would you have any other suggestions to cycle in the Naples region? Or any other régions for that time of the year?

Regards,
France
